About Joey67
Helping Australian kids ace their tests, one hop at a time! π¦
Why βJoey67β?
There's a story behind the name
A joey is a baby kangaroo β wide-eyed, full of curiosity, and built for Australia. What makes a joey remarkable isn't just what it is at the start. It's what it becomes. Nestled safely in its mother's pouch, it grows quietly, steadily, at its own pace β until one day it hops out into the world with confidence and strength it didn't even know it had.
That's exactly what we picture for every primary school kid in Australia. Not pressure. Not a race. Just a safe, nurturing space to grow β and the quiet confidence that comes from actually being prepared.
The 67 is something a little different. It's a viral number, a bit of internet slang that this generation just gets. And that's the point. We wanted a name that signals learning doesn't have to be stiff, serious, or stressful. It can be a little bit cheeky. A little bit fun. Entirely worth it.
Joey67 exists because we believe growing up in Australia should feel like an adventure β and the best adventures are the ones you feel ready for.
Our Story
Created with π by a dad who gets it
Hi, I'm Tin β a dad raising two kids in Australia, originally from Hong Kong. Growing up, every afternoon meant textbooks. Tutoring on weekdays. Exam prep on weekends. Playtime felt like something you had to earn.
Australia changed everything. Watching my kids race through sprinklers, kick the footy, build sandcastles until sunset β it's been one of the great joys of my life. This country has a beautiful relationship with childhood. It gives kids room to breathe.
But if you're an Asian-Australian parent, you probably know this feeling: you love the freedom your kids have here. You'd never trade it. And yet β there's this quiet voice in the back of your mind. The one that wonders if they're keeping up. The one that feels a pang of guilt when the whole weekend passes without any βrealβ learning. The one that doesn't want to be the pushy parent... but also doesn't want to let them down.
That tension is real. And it's not just an Asian parent thing β plenty of Australian parents feel it too. The world moves fast. OC tests. NAPLAN. Selective school. ACER scholarships. These aren't just acronyms; they can shape a child's path.
Joey67 is my answer to all of it. Fifteen focused minutes before the gaming starts. Practice that actually feels like something worth doing, not something to dread. Questions aligned to the real tests. Instant feedback. A little XP. A streak to protect. Enough to make a real difference β short enough that it doesn't swallow the childhood we moved here for.
βTo every parent holding both worlds together β the Australian ease and the drive to see your kids thrive β I see you. You're not being too much. You're doing exactly what a loving parent does. Let's just make it a little lighter on all of us.β

Carefully written questions aligned to OC, NAPLAN, Selective, and ACER standards β so practice actually transfers to the real thing.
Bite-sized Sessions
15β20 minutes is enough. We designed every session to fit into real family life β not replace it.
No Pressure
No leaderboards against classmates. No shame. Just a kid, a question, and the quiet confidence that comes from being prepared.
